Ratcliffe Park Open Day

People looking to get onto the property ladder had the chance to find out about a new housing development in Rainhill at an open event recently.

The open day was staged by Helena Living and Keepmoat Homes offering potential buyers valuable advice and information on the new Ratcliffe Park housing scheme in Rainhill. The event, which took place at St Annes Millenium Centre in Rainhill, had financial advice teams on hand to offer all important mortgage and financial advice to attendees.

At Ratcliffe Park, Helena are working in partnership with Bramall Construction, community regeneration specialists Keepmoat Homes, St Helens Council, and the Homes and Communities Agency. The development offers opportunities for people to get on the property ladder through shared ownership, as well as some outright sales and rented accommodation.

Attendees had the opportunity to speak one-to-one to representatives from each organisation, discussing their accommodation needs and the various options available to them across buying outright and shared ownership. They were also able to see a preview of plans for the site.
David Taylor, Helena Lettings and Marketing Manager, said: "The open event generated a fantastic response from the public.

"We were able to speak directly to those interested in the scheme, and inform them of the forthcoming properties at Ratcliffe Park. We found that some people were unfamiliar with the concept of shared ownership so having the opportunity to explain this and what it entails was a huge benefit, and the feedback people gave on this incentive was very well received.

"It was also great to share the open day with Keepmoat and give people a chance to see the strong partnerships we pride ourselves in working with."
